This time, the most sought out prizes will be awarded on 4 March 2018 at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles due to the Olympic Games in February. Lets see if last year’s incredible mishap will be repited. When the presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway went to present the winner of "Best Film" they announced the musical romance "La La Land", although "Moonlight" was the actual winner. The reason: they had the wrong envelope. Oops!
This year’s front-runner is the movie "The Shape of Water" with a whopping 13 Oscar nominations. And the legendary Meryl Streep is nominated for the 20th time.

Watch the live broadcast of The Oscars awards ceremony at abc.com. The red carpet coverage begins at 6:30e|3:30p, followed by the awards ceremony at 8:00e|5:00p.
In the UK, The Oscars will be available on NOW TV through the Sky Cinema Pass.
As in the previous year, the presentation of the Oscar ceremony in 2018 will be the American talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. Supposedly, it has already been made clear who will receive the Oscar for his life's work; Donald Sutherland, known for his work on the “Hunger Games”, “Moby Dick”, “Art of War” and “A normal family”.
